Pretty cool moment: this week, I joined MARAD & Bridgedeck (MMP) in presenting the Merchant Marine Expeditionary Medal to Captain Mecurio & the crew aboard the Alliance Fairfax, which was the first U.S.-flagged merchant vessels to safely clear the Strait of Hormuz after being stranded for months.
